My comments about “what the Olympics mean to China” were published in last week’s San Francisco Chronicle. Since today mark’s the first day of the Games, I thought I’d share my thoughts again:

Congratulations Erica! This is awesome. I agree with you about the Olympics being an opportunity to showcase good things in China, rather than just spite a hundred year inferiority complex. Love the site redesign… your posts look perfect in Google Reader, which is quite an accomplishment!
